Learners who successfully earn the MicroMasters Program Credential in Principles of Manufacturing are eligible to earn credit at a number of universities across the globe to fast track their pursuit of a full Master’s degree. The Master’s degree in engineering or science is within your reach and you can accelerate your graduate studies in these areas.

MIT

Department of Mechanical Engineering - Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing and Design (MEng)

Combine your MicroMasters program credential with on-campus work at MIT to earn a Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing and Design degree. Learners who earn a MicroMasters program credential in Principles of Manufacturing may apply to the Advanced Manufacturing and Design program, and upon acceptance, would be credited 48 academic units (equivalent to approximately 1/3 of the full degree program and 1 semester on campus). Atlântica, Instituto Universitário (Portugal) – Master in Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems

Atlântica, Instituto Universitário will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning 24 credits towards the completion of the master’s degree in Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems.

Bethel University (St. Paul, MN, USA) – Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Bethel University will offer those who have earned the MicroMasters program credential in Principles of Manufacturing 12 credits toward the total credits in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program if they are accepted for admission. Your MicroMasters credential is valid for five years upon your application to Bethel.

If you would like to apply to Bethel before the completion of the MicroMasters program, Bethel will still consider your application.

Covenant University (Nigeria) – Master of Mechanical Engineering

Covenant University will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning 18 credits towards the completion of the master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Your MicroMasters credential is valid for five years upon your application to Covenant.

Duquesne University (USA) – MS in Supply Chain Management

Duquesne University will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning 6 out of the total credit requirement towards the completion of MS-SCM.

Universidad EAN (Colombia)

Universidad EAN will offer the credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning:

• 18 credits of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the Master’s in Supply Chain Management (Online)
• 19 credits of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the Master's in Processes Engineering

In addition, all the rest of the master’s degree programs at EAN will grant at least 9 credits out of the total graduate credits to the PoM MicroMasters program credential holders.

Galileo University (Guatemala)

Galileo University will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning an equivalent of one year of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the Master’s degree in Reengineering and Technologies for Quality Assurance or the Master’s degree in Mechatronics. Your MicroMasters credential is valid for two years upon your application to Galileo.

Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (Lebanon) – Master of Science in Industrial Process Engineering

The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) will offer the credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning 15 of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the Master’s degree in Industrial Process Engineering.

Johannesburg Business School (South Africa) – Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Johannesburg Business School (JBS) of the University of Johannesburg will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning up to 30 credits out of the total credits requirement towards the completion of MBA.

Kangwon National University (South Korea) – Master’s Degree Programs under the Graduate School of Industry

Kangwon National University (KNU) will offer the credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning 12 of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the 14 Master’s degree programs under their Graduate School of Industry, excluding the Design major.

Laweh Open University College (Ghana) – MBA Procurement and Supply Chain Management program

Laweh Open University will offer the credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning 40 credits out of the total credits towards the completion of the MBA Procurement and Supply Chain Management program.

Porto Business School (Portugal)

Porto Business School will offer the credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning:

• 20 ECTS credits out of the total credits requirement towards the completion of the Digital MBA program
• 20 ECTS credits out of the total credits requirement towards the completion of the Executive MBA program
• 15.5 ETCS credits out of the total credits requirement towards the completion of the International MBA program

Rochester Institute of Technology (USA) – Master of Science in Professional Studies

The Master of Science in Professional Studies allows learners the opportunity to draw on courses offered across RIT graduate programs. Learners who hold the MicroMasters program credential in Principles of Manufacturing may apply any time during the year and upon acceptance, will be awarded 12 credit hours of the total required for the degree.

Royal Roads University (Canada)

The School of Business at Royal Roads University (RRU) will offer credential holders of the MITx MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning nine of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the following Master's programs:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive Management
• Master of Global Management (MGM)

Your MicroMasters credential is valid for five years upon your application to RRU. If you would like to apply to RRU before the completion of the MicroMasters program, RRU will still consider your application. Please contact http://www.royalroads.ca/contact/Admissions-and-Enrolment for questions.

Sasin School of Management will offer the credential holders of the MicroMasters program in Principles of Manufacturing the possibility of earning 6 credits of the total graduate credits towards the completion of the Sasin MBA.
